BDGA Coaches has coached more than 100 winners, from Major Winner to Junior Champions.

Hendrik Buhrmann
Hendrik Buhrmann has 32 years of experience in the competitive golf world as a golf coach and professional golfer.
Coached some of South Africa’s top players – Charl Schwartzel, Louis Oosthuizen, Richard Sterne, James Kingston, Keith Horne etc.
Competed on European Tour, Sunshine Tour, Asian Tour and European Senior Tour
Won 9 professional titles
Represented South Africa in the World Cup in 1995 with teammate Retief Goosen
Represented Southern Africa in the Dunhill Challenge, with teammates Ernie Els, Retief Goosen, Nick Price, David Frost – captained by Gary Player
Helped restructure the Asian tour as it is today
Served on the board of directors of the Asian Tour and still on the Sunshine Tour board
SM Van Achterbergh
With over 11 years of golf coaching experience, SM van Achterbergh is a fully qualified PGA member who has spent the past 7 years honing his coaching skills under the mentorship of renowned coach, Hendrik Bührmann.
SM has had the privilege of working with some of the top junior golfers in the country, including Jean du Toit, a standout talent, Kera Healey, now a collegiate player in the USA, and Chad Stanton, the U13 national champion.
In addition to juniors, SM has also assisted in coaching elite professional golfers such as James Kingston, MJ Viljoen, and many others.

Willie Van Berg
Willie completed a degree in human physiology at TUKS (B.SC Human Physiology) in 2009, which set the platform for his interest to develop his career in the medical field. He studied a BSc. Physiotherapy degree at UFS, which he completed in 2013. During this time, Willie travelled with the CUT rugby side during their varsity shield and Varsity cup campaigns.
He moved to Johannesburg in 2015 to complete a post graduate qualification in osteomanipulative therapy. During this time, he worked with athletes such as Sunnette Viljoen (Olympic silver medalist Javelin), Evan Maripa and Lucas Sithole (wheelchair tennis SA). In 2017 he got the contract to work for the Highlands park soccer team and toured with them as part of the PSL.
Willie has always had a keen interest in golf and his end goal was always to build a reputation and a practice where he could work with professional golfers. In 2017, he travelled to the UK to become certified with the Titleist Performance Institute as a medical professional. Willie has since worked with golfers competing on the Sunshine tour, European tour, PGA tour as well as the Sunshine- and European ladies tour. He has had the pleasure of working with some of the best South African golfers.
Willie is a determined individual and his personality is easy-going and relaxed. These characteristics set the tone for the practice making it a very pleasant space to be in, as both a professional and a patient.
